As fans probably know, singer Pink and her 3-year-old son Jameson both tested positive for coronavirus. It was confirmed that Pink was infected with the virus after symptoms appeared, and she was lucky enough to do some tests for herself and her family.
And now the star opens up and criticizes the current situation in the country, which does not allow everyone to take a test. Here’s what Pink had to say!
In fact, she and her 3-year-old son were infected and now that she has seen it, Pink makes it very clear that COVID-19 is very “serious and real” and should be treated as such.
The star went to her Instagram platform to post a long message: “Two weeks ago, my 3-year-old son Jameson and I showed symptoms of COVID-19. Fortunately, our treating doctor had access to tests and I became positive. My family was at home and we have been doing this for the past 2 weeks under the direction of our doctor. “”
As you know, the singer and her husband Carey Hart are also the parents of their 8-year-old daughter Willow Sage.

Two weeks ago my three-year old son, Jameson, and I are were showing symptoms of COVID-19. Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive. My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor. Just a few days ago we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative. It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible. This illness is serious and real. People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor, and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities. In an effort to support the healthcare professionals who are battling on the frontlines every day, I am donating $500,000 to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in honor of my mother, Judy Moore, who worked there for 18 years in the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Transplant Center. Additionally, I am donating $500,000 to the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund. THANK YOU to all of our healthcare professionals and everyone in the world who are working so hard to protect our loved ones. You are our heroes! These next two weeks are crucial: please stay home. Please. Stay. Home.❤️
Although the diagnosis seems really scary, especially with regard to her child, both have since recovered, according to the mother of two children.
She mentioned that they had been retested just a few days before the station and the result was negative.
That was not all! Pink, who once criticized Donald Trump, also wanted to use his voice and criticize the current situation in the county.
She wrote: “It is an absolute farce and a failure of our government not to make the tests widely available. This disease is serious and real. People really need to know that it affects young and old, healthy and unhealthy, the rich and the poor, and we have to make tests free and much more widely available to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities. “”
